Q: How long does it take to make a costume?

A: About 1 month after receiving the payment. We will notify you by email about the estimated shipping date. Costumes in stock are available immediately.

Q: Do you ship worldwide, and how long does it take?

A: Yes, we do. We use standard mail for which you will have to sign when you receive the package. If you are not at home in most cases you will be able to pick up the package at your local post office. Shipping can take 1 week, but at times customs keep the package longer and we have no control on this time.

Q: How do I pay for the costume?

A: With Paypal or credit card. If you use the webshop payments can be done immediately on chekout. Otherwise we can send you a Paypal link with the invoice. If you choose the "offline payment" method you can transfer the amount by bank.

Q: Where are the costumes made?

A: In The Netherlands, Europe.

Q: How can I figure which size will fit me?

A: Download the size-charts here and take your measurements while you are not wearing clothes, only underwear.

Q: Can I wash or iron a belly dance costume?

A: Please contact us by email for a detailed advise on this.  Mention the model of your Makari Dreams costume when you ask us this question.

Q: Can you make costumes for dance groups?

A: Yes, it's possible. Contact us by email for all details.

Q: Can you design a special costume for me?

A: Yes, we like to work together with the customer. Contact us by email for all details.

Q: Can you make plus sizes?

A: Most of our costumes can be made up to size L (as from our size chart). We can make XL if materials are available, in this case contact us by email. Note that we ask a variable surcharge (amount depending on the costume) for L and XL.

Q: Can you make costumes for children?

A: Yes, we do :) Contact us by email for special designs or for modifications of the available designs to suit young ladies.

Q: Do you do costume repairs or modifications?

A: No, we don't.

Q: Can you copy a costume for me?

A: No, we don't. We make only original and unique designs and we discourage copying other people's designs.

Q: Do you have a brick-and-mortar shop or a show room?

A: For the moment we don't have. Maybe in the future :)

Q: How can I see your costumes and try them on?

A: Until we will have a show room you can find us at festivals. Announcements are given on the website or Facebook. If you live in The Netherlands or pass by you can try to make an appointment. Please contact us well in advance :)

Q: I am a dressmaker / I can sew. Can I copy Makari Dreams designs?

A: No, unless you have our permission. Please contact us by email about this.

Q: I am a dressmaker / I can sew. Can I work for you?

A:  We are looking for good dressmakers and ateliers who would like to collaborate with us. Please contact us by email if you are interested.

Q: I have a belly dance costume shop. Can I sell Makari Dreams costumes?

A:  Yes, please contact us by email if you are interested in reselling or representing our costumes.

Q: I am the organizer of a dance event / festival. Can Makari Dreams sponsor my event?

A:  Yes, we sponsor dance festivals, events and competitions. Please contact us by email for details if you are interested to us as sponsor.
